Roll Your Works On The Lord!

Proverbs 16:1-3 The Amplified Bible

The plans of the mind and orderly thinking belong to man, but from the Lord comes the [wise] answer of the tongue. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits (the thoughts and intents of the heart). Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.

The bottom line is that we can't ever figure it all out.  If we were all knowing and could make perfect decisions we would be like God.   I can clearly see that on my own my choices without His input can be huge fumbles. I need His written Word, prayer for His wisdom and the precious Holy Spirit in order to move in any direction.  He tells us to pray specifically and NOT to worry.  That's the hard part and where the great learning from experience has to play out.  He wants us to REST in Him.  Ask Him today for wisdom, roll your works upon Him and let Him do the work.  He is Faithful!
