From The Inside Out!

Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

What is the Lord's standard for us?  Are we to fit so well into “this world” that no one can even tell we are different?  He said we were a chosen generation and actually that we are a peculiar people.  At first glance peculiar would have a negative connotation.  I look at it very differently.  We are in covenant with the Creator of the Universe, the Almighty God!  He has our back.  He walks with us. He gives us peace, joy and right standing with Him because of Chris.  I'll take all that to be known as a bit peculiar, won't you?  Let's shine like lights today in this dark world!  So many are looking for the treasure we have found!
