The most frequent comment from Tuesday’s blog was concern for unsaved loved ones, so I want to address this openly in today’s blog. When you become born again and experience the resurrection life of Christ in you, you think differently. A lot of things begin to change, and the one thing we notice most is the lost condition of our family. We want them to know Jesus as Lord and Savior also, so they too can live eternally with you and all true believers in the New Jerusalem.

We know it is the grace of God that enables us to live eternally with Him, and the connection to that grace is by faith. At some point, we, as believers, made that connection willfully and confessed the sinner’s prayer. You made a conscious effort to surrender and realized you needed a Savior. You needed Jesus. This is the same approach everyone must take, and this act of surrender is not one of the carnal mind, it’s one that comes from the heart or spirit of man that realizes his unworthiness. Jesus is the lamb who was slain, and He is the only one who is worthy to receive glory and honor from the Father.

Now, I said all of that to make all of you realize how supernatural of an event this really is. The born again experience is supernatural, and the hindrances that keep loved ones from entering into it are supernatural. Jesus leads you into the kingdom of God because only He is the way, the truth, and the life. Satan and all of his cohorts lead you away from the kingdom of light to keep you in this present world in the kingdom of darkness. The battle you are up against with your loved ones is without question freewill, but their freewill is being manipulated by the forces of darkness. This is why the gifts of the Spirit of God are so important. There needs to be discernment in these matters of loved ones to see what supernatural dark force is hindering them. You can use the shotgun approach with prayer coverings that has a scattered spray or you can use a rifle with a laser beam that will zero in on the target.

So, outside of just lifting your loved ones in prayer, ask God to show you the manipulating force of darkness that is hindering your loved one. This is nothing strange saints. Rather, not operating in this supernatural realm is what’s strange. Refuse to let the enemy hold your loved ones captive any longer. Confess to the heavens and the earth that today is the day where Jesus shall arise, and all of His enemies shall be scattered (Mark 9:20-26). Amen.

I’m going to give you a short, but powerful warrior prayer that will break the power of hell off of your loved ones once you find out what the force is. Pray believing that you already have received the following prayer.

In the name of Jesus, I come against the spirit of _____________ (name of the dark spirit) and I command you by the authority and power of Jesus Christ to leave ____________ (person’s name). You must leave now! You are to leave and never return. I loose you from _____________ (person’s name) and I bind you.

You don’t need to go on and on with long, drawn out prayers. Just speak in the power and authority of Jesus’ name and it (the dark force) shall obey you. You have such authority in the name of Jesus and especially over your loved ones.
