As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart. Proverbs 27:19
Have you ever looked in the mirror and thought surely this isn’t me? The painful reality is that is your physical appearance for better or for worse. The mirror is only reflecting what is standing in front of it.
In the same way Proverbs 27:19 tells us that our life is the mirror and that our heart is the one standing in front of it. Looking at our life is a reflection of your heart. Your life for better or worse tells you what is truly in your heart. What does your life look like today? If your life were to be captured in a picture what would the picture be of?
Would it be your job? your church? your kids? yourself? Or would it be a picture of Jesus?
When Jesus is the primary desire of your heart your life will look like him. Today, take the time to do a little self-analysis. If you are unhappy with your life make Jesus the desire of your heart and soon your life will look like him.
