The Comforter Has Come

However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you].

Our Lord is so faithful to make sure we knew that even though He physically left this earth He didn't leave us helpless.  The precoius Holy Spirit is a person who walks with us to be all those things we need.  He is always at work in our lives lovingly helping so many times in ways we don't even see.  He always tells us the truth, He never leads us astray.  We can trust Him, He is our Faithful Lord who promises to provide what we need.  Take a moment today to reflect on His presence in your life and His faithfulness!
