The Springs of Life

Proverbs 4:23 ~ The Amplified Bible 

 

Keep and guard your heart with all viligance and above all that you guard, for out of it flows the springs of life.  Put away from you false and dishonest speech, and willful and contrary talk put far from you. Let your eyes look right on [with fixed purpose], and let your gaze be straight before you Consider well the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established and ordered aright. Turn not aside to the right hand or to the left; remove your foot from evil.

 

What is your fixed purpose?  Do you know where you are heading?  For me, even when the path seems unclear I am thankful that His Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.  There are days when I would love to see what is around the corner so I could plan.  Sometimes He let's us plan.  Somethings He even directs us to prepare when we are not completely sure what we are preparing for. The exciting piece of this puzzle is that He knows what we do not know, and He is always trustworthy!  He is always looking out for what is best. So today, do what you know to do.  Walk in His Word and let Him fill in the pieces that you cannot see!
