Psalm 115:1-9 ~ The Amplified Bible

Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to Your name give glory, for Your mercy and loving-kindness and for the sake of Your truth and faithfulness!  Why should the nations say, Where is now their God? But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.  The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; They have ears, but they hear not; noses have they, but they smell not; They have hands, but they handle not; feet have they, but they walk not; neither can they make a sound with their throats. They who make idols are like them; so are all whTo trust in and lean on them.  O Israel, trust and take refuge in the Lord! [Lean on, rely on, and be confident in Him!] He is their Help and their Shield.

It's all about Him!  In Him we live and move and have our being.  Let us not look to another when He is our everything!  The world would give us a multitude of options to turn to when we are hurting, lonely and afraid.  Even good things will turn out empty when what we really need is a touch of the Master.  He promises us that He will be our rock, our shelter and a friend who will stick closer than a brother.  Turn to Him today, cry out to Him, He will certainly meet you where you are!
