We Have The Living Hope!

 Light arises in the darkness for the upright, gracious, compassionate, and just [who are in right standing with God].It is well with the man who deals generously and lends, who conducts his affairs with justice.He will not be moved forever; the [uncompromisingly] righteous (the upright, in right standing with God) shall be in everlasting remembrance.He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is firmly fixed, trusting (leaning on and being confident) in the Lord.

I was on my porch recently pondering so much sadness in this world.  It seemed that all around us is strife, fighting, killing, brokenness, divorce, abuse and disappointment.  I began to cry out to the Lord, I asked Him “Is there anything right in this world”? I heard Him speak gently to my heart ~ “the only thing untainted by sin in this world is the living Word”.  I thought about that for a while and felt hope and comfort pour back into my heart.  Though the world around us shakes and crumbles, we stand on the most solid foundation there is!  We have the Living Word!  We can hide it in our heart and speak it out of our mouth.  Therein is our hope.  Hide His Word in your heart today, it will make all the difference in your life.
