Have you ever thought about freedom as a calling for your life? According to the word of God it is. Christ died to set us free. Earlier in chapter five of Galations it tells us to stand firm and to not let ourselves be burdened by a yoke of slavery again. People who follow Christ are not to be enslaved to anyone even their own flesh. Slavery or serving another master besides God keeps us from loving him and loving people. He wants us to use our freedom to serve one another humbly in love just as he has served us. If anything is holding you captive today pray and allow God to take the chains off of your life. He has called you to be free! As followers of Christ we are to live in freedom and set people free by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
