Can we be Christians without being a Disciple? I'll let Yahshua (Jesus) answer that one. The last thing He told us before He ascended to the Father was to go into the world, making 'DISCIPLES' of all nations, teaching them to obey ALL that He commanded. He never said go tell people they can be casual, non-committed Christians. Disciples are those who have surrendered all to follow Christ. I'm afraid most of us don't even understand what that means. We flippantly call ourselves 'His followers' but following Him involves so much more than going to church once in a while. To be His followers means we allow Him to lead us…ANYWHERE! Another country away from family and friends. Another job with lower pay. Staying right where you are when you really want to go someplace else. Spending your time loving and helping people who will never love you back or show you gratitude. Even following Him straight up a hill to be crucified.

Are we willing to tell Yahweh that He can have whatever He wants? Do we believe that wholehearted commitment to Him is more important than any other thing or person in our life? Are we a disciple? It's a question that we must answer. Our eternity depends on it!
