The Lord is my strength and shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy and with my song I praise him. Psalm 28:7

Have you ever been absolutely overwhelmed? I know that I have. Life can be tough with   just normal everyday responsibilities. If only there was someone to help us when our bosses are frustrated with us, when our relationships are falling apart, when the baby is crying at four a.m., or when we reach the end of our rope.

Oh, wait a second there is! God is here to help you this very moment. No matter what you are going through or trying to accomplish God is here to come to your rescue. God has endless amounts of time and resources and guess what everything he has is yours! He wants you to have all of him every second every day.

You may be wondering what do I have to do to get this help? Psalms 28:7 says, “my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.” If you want God to help you, trust him. Some may say this is simple but for others it is not. If you are having difficulty trusting God ask him to help you trust him. He desperately wants you to trust him so when you pray that prayer he will do anything he can to help you.

Are you in desperate need of help today? Do you only wish you could leap with joy? Trust him and if you can’t trust him yet give him whatever you do have and ask him for the rest. He will be faithful. God is longing for you to put your trust in him.
