Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

 This Scripture has always been a place to pause and ponder for me.  I understand the portion about showing hospitality and following the Lord's example of love and giving of ourselves.  The phrase about angels always made me stop and think.  Either way, the directive remains the same. We are to open our hearts and homes to those in need.  We are to be Christ to those we meet along our journey.  Some days, the call is to invite them into our homes for rest and refreshment.  Others, it may be a kind word or a cup of cold water.  Jesus said that even if we give unto the least of these, it is as though we are giving it unto Him! Let's look for opportunities today to be Jesus to those we meet along our journey.
