You are NOT alone. Everyone faces challenges and decisions in life where God’s direction is desperately needed.
I have faced many times in life where I simply did not know what to do. The Christians around me would say “just pray about it!” To be honest that seemed to make it worse! I would think “pray about it?” I am barely surviving here. No doubt prayer is powerful and I encourage you to continue praying however I want to give you a couple of suggestions that I believe will help you receive guidance.
· Establish in your heart and say with your mouth that God’s Word IS the final authority in your life.
· Begin to read one chapter in Proverbs everyday and keep a journal of what God is speaking to you through His Word.
· Seek Godly counsel. God tells us in Proverbs: “Plans go wrong for lack of advice; many advisers bring success” (Proverbs 15:22). We cannot do anything good or well without God's help, guidance, and blessing. And God often uses godly friends and family to speak His guidance into our lives.
· Make sure you are plugged into a Bible believing church
· Join with me in our Global Prayer Meetings and Global Bible Studies each month. They will really encourage you!!
