Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save the worst of sinners-of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and recieve eternal life. 1 Timothy 1:15-16

Have you ever felt like there was no way God could ever forgive you or that your sin was too great? Maybe you have looked at another person and thought not even God could save them.

Two thirds of the New Testament was written by a guy named Paul. Before he met Jesus his name was Saul and he went around killing every Christian he could find. He is the one writing to Timothy in 1 Timothy.

He told us that Christ did not come for the ones that are already holy. We don't have to clean up our act before we come to God. Infact, we are incapable of removing sin from our lives.

Paul gives us hope that no one is too far or too sinful for God to save.

Today no matter what your sin you can come to Jesus who is ready and anxious to forgive your sin. Christ came to save you and me the worst of sinners.
