The Lord Is With You!

Joshua 1:9 (NIV)

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Have you been watching the news lately?  Don't be afraid?  That sounds a little easier said than done. This planet continues to get more frightening every day! I am reminded that right before Jesus assended into Heaven He told us that He was leaving His peace with us.  It wasn't a peace that this world could ever give or understand.  It would only come because of our relationship with Him.  It was a promise and even in the hardest of times, He can give us a peace that passes all understanding.  He doesn't take us out of the world, but He walks with us and allows us to possess His peace.  We can be strong as we cling to Him because in that joining together, we take on His strength and courage.  Hold fast, be at peace, He is with you!
